Entry fragger explained

Entry work is not measured only by first kills. An entry can force defenders off an angle, trigger utility, reveal positions, or create a tradeable path. In hero shooters and MOBAs, a similar job may be performed by an initiator or engage player rather than a traditional rifle role.

Example call
“The entry fragger cleared close right, so the second player could trade from the doorway.”

Why the term matters

The role succeeds when timing, utility, and spacing support it. Sending one player through a choke alone is not a strategy.

Use it correctly

When you hear Entry fragger in a broadcast or team call, use the surrounding moment to understand it: who has information, which resources remain and what action comes next. The same word can sound slightly different across games, but a good call should still help a teammate decide.

Competitive language is most useful when it makes the next action clearer. Give the location, timing, or resource state needed to support the term. Avoid using shorthand as a substitute for a complete call when teammates need more information.
