Research and sourcing

Official game documentation, publisher posts, organizer rulebooks, and current competition records are preferred for factual claims. Third-party analysis can inform context but does not override a current official announcement or rulebook.

When a system is hidden—such as a complete matchmaking formula—we say that it is hidden. We do not reverse-engineer speculation into a confident fact. Time-sensitive material carries a review date and avoids permanent language when a patch or season can change the answer.

Writing for players

A 2PVP guide begins with a specific player or viewer problem. It explains the underlying decision, provides a repeatable process, states important limitations and links to the next relevant tool, game hub, term or match page.

We use enough detail to answer the question clearly, then stop. The same answer is not published under several slightly different titles; one complete guide should do the job.

Reviews and updates

Durable fundamentals are reviewed on a scheduled basis and after major game changes. Live schedules stay separate from articles so a rescheduled series does not leave an old time inside a guide. Tools are checked against their stated formulas and keep game-specific limitations next to the result.

A review date means a person or repeatable check reviewed the page’s main claims and links. Match, team and player details can change between checks, so every time-sensitive page links back to the current schedule.

Corrections, conflicts, and commercial content

Important corrections should be made promptly and openly. Minor grammar or formatting changes do not require a visible correction note. A meaningful correction should explain what changed when the original claim could have affected a player decision.

2PVP does not currently publish paid rankings, affiliate product placements, betting picks or sponsored editorial. If commercial content is added later, it must be labeled and cannot purchase a favorable conclusion. Editorial decisions and source choices remain independent.

Publishing safeguards

Match information, quotes, authors and factual claims must never be invented. New pages are checked for a clear visitor purpose, useful detail, working links and consistency with the material that supports them.

Repeated or incomplete pages are not published simply to repeat another title. A missing match or profile returns an honest unavailable state instead of an empty page that wastes a visitor’s time.
