Turn a watched match into better play
A balanced training block includes recoveries, first touches, shooting, and one focused mechanic. Free play should have intent: keep speed without wasting boost, land on your wheels, and direct the first touch into space you can use. In replay review, switch away from the ball. Check whether your spacing gave the teammate options and whether you collected small pads instead of abandoning the play for a corner boost.
After the match, write down one decision you can test in your own games. Keep the note specific: the cue you saw, the action that followed, and the result. That creates a practice target instead of a vague plan to copy a professional player.
