Macro explained
Macro describes how a team turns information and time into a plan across the whole map. It can include wave or lane management, objective timing, rotations, economy, map control and choosing which fight not to take. The exact pieces differ by game, but the question stays similar: which action creates the strongest next position?

Why the term matters
A macro review should use the information available at the time. Hindsight can make a hidden opponent or future objective result look obvious when it was not.
Use it correctly
When you hear Macro in a broadcast or team call, use the surrounding moment to understand it: who has information, which resources remain and what action comes next. The same word can sound slightly different across games, but a good call should still help a teammate decide.
Competitive language is most useful when it makes the next action clearer. Give the location, timing, or resource state needed to support the term. Avoid using shorthand as a substitute for a complete call when teammates need more information.
